Paul Berick

If you're losing hope, fight. I'd say be stubborn and prove them wrong

Paul suffered 3 years of copd and from his lungs deteriorated according his doctor. they gave him 2 years to live. After trying a buteko teacher in Thailand he healed not only his respiratory issues but also his allergies, digestion, acid reflux and snoring. read his testimonial and never lose hope.

It all started at :

2019. i had inflammation in my lungs. at the beginning it was diagnosed as viral infection and they gave me steroids.

diagnosis was vague and mysterious

a year later i learned that the symptoms lingered and was diagnosed with COPD. from an acute illness it became a chronic one. I was a father to a young kid and i was very worried.

Main symptoms were:

Daily symptoms were pressure on my chest, loud wheezing & rattling in the lungs, frequent coughing (often so hard to the point of sweating), and exacerbated allergy symptoms such as itchy skin, running nose, and post nasal drip.  The capacity of my lungs deteriorated with time. they gave me 2 years to live. i believed them and was depressed.   All gone.

I tried these modalities but they did not cure me:

inhalers, steroids, doctor visits- i was ready to try it all.  i was after the total cure not just managing the disease. doctors said that cure is impossible. that i will have to live on medications and that i dont have much time to live.

Dark night of the soul:

yes! there were many dark nights. this is something i wrote at those time. it reflects the agony and despair.

When you grasp the inevitability of death, And realize that time is moving from crawl, to walk, to run And that death is approaching from the other direction, At a dead sprint You realize that everything you love, you’ll let go of, And the more you love, the more painful it is Distance, coldness, and anger are like the healing salve Freeing you from the devastating agony of goodbye.

I felt back then that i am not going to live much time.

Change in the plot:

Daily symptoms were pressure on my chest, loud wheezing & rattling in the lungs, frequent coughing (often so hard to the point of sweating), and exacerbated allergy symptoms such as itchy skin, running nose, and post nasal drip.  The capacity of my lungs deteriorated with time. they gave me 2 years to live. i believed them and was depressed.   All gone.

My best advice to fellow sufferers of chronic conditions:
