Create a 'why I must get well' list of reasons to heal

Clint Paddison healed of RA after years of medications and suffering. This miraclous healing happened after he changed his diet to whole food plant based diet and intensive Yoga training.  Here is an interview with Clint avout his miraculous healing journey and his take on autoimmune diseases.

What might be the reasons they failed to cure?

The testimonials given by people who followed your program are amazing and they give hope- but what is the percentage who people that the program does not work for them?

Here are the only few ways in which people 'fail' on healing:

  • Inadequate exercise. Daily exercise, to the point of sweating, is 40% of the Program.
  • Changing meds prior to starting, or during the Program lowering them early
  • Being on antibiotics, prednisone or frequent use of NSAID's which constantly retard the gut healing process (and not using the strategies in the Program to substitute or reduce these harmful medications safely)
  • Being newly diagnosed and the condition is developing
  • Being very insufficiently medicated, causing very high joint inflammation and consequently severe leaky gut, to the extent that even this Program cannot fully compete with. If you did not experience any pain relief during the 2 day cleanse then your leaky gut is so severe that no dietary changes will be able to bring your RA on current medication levels. A DMARD should be considered and the Program can then do it's work in parallel to the drug.
  • Ongoing constipation without resolving it.
  • Insufficient intake of bacteria-rich foods, and in the form of probiotics.
  • Reintroducing foods faster than the recommended guidelines

Oils and RA

Regarding your insights on extravirgin olive oil, tahini, avocado and healthy fats that are used in medetrian diet which is considered healthy. why are you focused on no-fat?

High fat foods increase oxidative stress. Oils are a processed food, we target our essential fatty acids from foods themselves such as leafy greens. We avoid omega 6 fats which are inflammatory. It's easy to achieve all the protein we need with plants.

Till the pain go away with your method: What are your biggest tips to help the members deal with the pain and frustration, loss of range in the joints?

Create a 'why I must get well' list of reasons to follow the Program, then follow the Program. It contains the information around diet, exercise, stress reduction, supplements and medication considerations. These reduce the pain, increase range of motion. Then, frustration is reduced.

Nightshades: is there a point in the program when RA patients can re-eat tomatoes and peppers? Do you know the NAET or ipec method that teach the subconscious food tolerance? Did you use it or thechniques like that?

There is no scientific evidence that nightshades are bad for arthritis. The elimination process in the Program eliminates nighshades for a 12 day period, then they can be tested by each individual thereafter.

Your experience with the plan based on whole food plant based diet-  was meant for RA patients. What about patients  who suffer osteoarthritis,  fibro or sport injuries thar create chronic inflammation.  Are there modifications in your diet for OA patients? Is it always about leaky gut?

This diet is aa wholelistic plan to maximise health. Thus, should be beneficial for everyone with ill health. The focus of my area is inflammatory arthritis, such as RA, Psoriatic Arthritis, Lupus, Ankylosing Spondylitis and so on. These conditions, which are extremely challenging, are the conditions that usually respond well even when all other things have failed for these people.

Spurs: even if the RA malady is gone thanks to diet changes. - there are left "memories" in the joints like osteophites which might inflame again the tissues and decrease motion - what are your tips for these spurs: is there a natural way to remove them? Dissolve them? Shockwave them? What worked for you?

what about healing spurs in RA?

When someone is improving significantly, nodules, if they are hardened soft tissue, resolve like the more common forms of RA-related inflammation and swelling. Bone deformities or bone spurs won't resolve.

What's your take on hymalaian salt? I remember the diet plan advocates against salt but is pro sauerkraut or kimchi which are very salty. Can you say something about this?

As I explain in the Program, if some salt is needed to keep compliance then that's fine. It's better to eat the healthy foods with some salt than to give up because the flavour isn't satisfying enough.

Which supplements are advise by you during this diet for inflammation? - do u advise to take L-gutamine from the beginning? Vitamin c/d?

There is scientific evidence supporting Potassium, Multiminerals, Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Probiotics. Vitamin B12 is the only essential one, the rest can be tested or added on a case by case basis. Turmeric, boswelia and so on should be harmless but won't change the inflammation significantly for most people with RA.

what is the connection of RA to emotions?
Acidosis by emotions: people might eat according the rules and not heal because of fears panicking repressed anger etc.
Negative emotions will act negatively on the microbiome.
